Dalai Lama Temple
The most important Buddhist site in the town is the Dalai Lama’s temple. It has statues of Shakyamuni, Avalokiteśvara, and a statue of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche). The sacred temple for Tibetians and Buddhists in Dharamshala. His Holiness Dalai Lama also resides near this temple. This is the most popular tourist attraction for foreigners in Dharamshala. The distance from Resort to Dalai Lama Temple is 5 kms.
Bhagsunag Falls
Temple of god Shiva situated around 2 km from McLeodGanj Bazaar. Constructed by 1 GR by around 1800 century and then worshipped majorly by 14 Gukha platoon villages in Dharamshala. Very next to Bhagsunag temple is a water fall, one of the major tourist attraction spot in Dharamshala. During Monsoon, the fall turns into a 30 feet cascade. The distance from Resort to Bhagsunag Temple is 15.9 Kms.
St. John’s Church
As you drive from McLeod Ganj to Forsythe Ganj, St. John’s Church lies in between. It also houses the tomb of Lord Elgin one of the Viceroys of British India.
McleodGanj
Fondly referred as the little Lhasa, McLeod Ganj draws more fame from the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama than anything else. The little township with clusters of maonasteries and Buddha Statues is one of the biggest Tourist attractions in Dharamsala.
Dal Lake
Hemmed in Deodar and Fir trees, the Dal lake is another picturesque spot just 10kms away from Dharamsala.
Naddi
Naddi at 2,000 metres above the sea level and about two kilometres from Mcleod Ganj, a modern picnic spot is developing fast at Naddi.

Khajjiar
Khajjiar is 27 km from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is one of the famous retreats among the visitors. Khajjiar is famous for the popular Khajji Naga shrine dedicated to the serpent god from which the name is believed to have been derived. The temple dates back to the 10th century and is interspaced with different patterns and images on the ceiling and wooden posts.
Khajjiar Laxmi Narayan Temple
Laxmi Narayan Temple is a 10th century temple, which is constructed in the Shikhara style by Sahil Verman. It is the oldest and the largest of all the temples located in Chamba region.
Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary
This sanctuary area with its well laid out trekking jungle trails both at Kalatop and Khajjiar is a tourist paradise. Dense Deodar and Fir forests are places of loneliness very close to Dalhousie town.
Khajjiar Lake
Khajjiar Lake is a small lake, surrounded by saucer-shaped lush green meadow and a floating island. The dense growth of weed called vacha has made its earth spongy. Now the banks stand covered by a thick layer of earth, formed by the years of dust settling down on the weeds.

Jakhu Temple
Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Located on Jakhoo Hill, 2.5 km from the Ridge, the Jakhoo Temple offers beautiful views of the Shivalik Mountains and the nearby town of Sanjauli.
Kufri
Kufri is a winter sports capital. Kufri is situated at an altitude of 2622 meters above sea level Skiing can be pursued in Kufri. It takes approximately one hour to drive to Kufri from Shimla city.

The Mall: This is the main shopping area in Shimla and has many restaurants, shops, offices and post offices.
Tara devi Temple
Tara Devi Temple is situated at a height of 1851 meters above sea level. Tara Devi Temple is situated at a distance of 11 kilometers from Shimla. Tara Devi Temple is accessible by rail, bus and car. The road is the National Highway 22 (NH 22).

Hidimba Temple
The 15th-century Hadimba Temple was built to commemorate Hadimba Devi, from the Indian spiritual epic Mahabharata. What’s equally striking is the cedar forest that surrounds the temple, which adds to its earthy appeal.
Solang Valley
Solang Valley is quiet and is best approached by road. The drive up to Solang is extremely picturesque. Once you are there, try out some Chinese food from the local roadside shacks, and enjoy the views. The road ahead is blocked since a tunnel to Koksar (a village ahead of Rohtag La) is now being built there.
Rohtang Pass
Rohtang Pass is a very beautiful and popular spot in Manali with more than 25 lakh visitors every year. In winter, the mountains at the Rohtang Pass are completely covered in snow and it is impossible to get there. Hence, the pass remains closed during winters (from October) and generally opens again in May.
